‘Trinity’ by Oscar Sol [ES] & Iris Heitzinger [AT}

At the first edition of Coded Matter(s), Spanish visual artist Oscar Sol and Austrian dancer/choreographer Iris Heitzinger will present ‘Trinity’, an interactive dance performance that consists of an interplay between visual art by Oscar Sol that is projected onto and responds to the movements of Iris Heitzinger.

To create these interactive visuals, Oscar made use of various parameters and qualities of Iris’ movement, such as forces and directions, acceleration, position, speed and body area, responding to the flow of her body and translating this into a dialogue between the virtual light and the physical dancer.
