We’re thrilled to announce that on Saturday 1 December, FIBER presents the final stage of the Worldbuilding trilogy at Lab111.
With the Coded Matter(s) conference programme FIBER presents the work of artists, designers, musicians, creative coders and researchers who reflect on the application and impact of advanced technologies on our present-day and future world. Sharing making processes you also get insights into the latest project at the intersection of art, technology and nature.
Coded Matter(s): Sensing Beyond |Beyond Sensing comprises four sessions and features a keynote by British filmmaker and software artist Alan Warburton, as well as talks and performances by German media artist and choreographer Christian ‘Mio’ Loclair, Amsterdam-based performance designers The Rodina, and French CGI artist and Rijksakademie resident Kevin Bray.

Coded Matter(s): Sensing Beyond | Beyond Sensing is presented as part of FIBER Weekends, a new, decentralized event dedicated to emerging developments in audiovisual, art, electronic music and digital culture. In addition to Coded Matter(s), FIBER Weekends 2018 presents an extensive programme of live audiovisual performances, immersive installations and a club night.
